Why do I meditate?

It seems to me Meditation is a 'trend' these days comparing to several years ago. If I go to the bookstore, I can easily find the meditation-related books like mindfulness or how-to-meditate targeting young women which is quite surprising to me.

First of all, I really didn't like to meditate several years ago when I found that this might have rescued my life in some way. BUT, the meditation methods I knew at that time were to be silent, calm your mind, and let the negativity/expectation out from you mind.

Doing this repeatedly got me so bored. Just sit focusing on breathing. It was just boring and I didn't feel anything was changed in my life even a little thing and it didn't change much the way I feel, think either. So I didn't really continue doing that.

This was totally changed when Hinata Haru had introduced the symbolic meditation.

Symbolic meditation is a combination of the 'imaging' and 'insight' meditation which you ask to seek/find the answer in the meditation.

This deeply fascinated me because I could get the different way of insights, ideas as I got to do more, and even could obviously felt that my life was changing.

This is the reason why I meditate.

I want to change/transform my life.

At the point when I desperately want that in my life, sometimes I do meditate for over 1 hour half of the week till I get the answer.

Even if I'm pretty much in the good state, I take the short time mediation, like 10 min or so to get another insight.
