What's 'Symbolic Meditation'?

Symbolic meditation is literary a meditation, but assuming that the questions I'd get would be like

"How do you do?"

or

"What's the difference from others?"

As I don't have much knowledge for other methods, unfortunately cannot explain the differences.

Symbolic meditation was developed based on the Japanese ancient ways to meditate and then renovated to suit the modern times.
The navigation words to be used were chosen by experimenting with people of the various age range, to make them easily experience to get the images in the meditation.

In the symbolic meditation, we're navigated to 'image' by using our five senses, not just to calm ourselves.

By doing this, we can get the answer from our inner wisdom.

Images in the meditation are the symbols coming up from the unconscious mind, by deciphering these with symbolic method, you'll get the answer what you needed.
Even if you couldn't, the answer would come later to you.

Worth to experience how your unconscious mind will tell you the answer through the symbols.

Why do I meditate?

It seems to me Meditation is a 'trend' these days comparing to several years ago. If I go to the bookstore, I can easily find the meditation-related books like mindfulness or how-to-meditate targeting young women which is quite surprising to me.

First of all, I really didn't like to meditate several years ago when I found that this might have rescued my life in some way. BUT, the meditation methods I knew at that time were to be silent, calm your mind, and let the negativity/expectation out from you mind.

Doing this repeatedly got me so bored. Just sit focusing on breathing. It was just boring and I didn't feel anything was changed in my life even a little thing and it didn't change much the way I feel, think either. So I didn't really continue doing that.

This was totally changed when Hinata Haru had introduced the symbolic meditation.

Symbolic meditation is a combination of the 'imaging' and 'insight' meditation which you ask to seek/find the answer in the meditation.

This deeply fascinated me because I could get the different way of insights, ideas as I got to do more, and even could obviously felt that my life was changing.

This is the reason why I meditate.

I want to change/transform my life.

At the point when I desperately want that in my life, sometimes I do meditate for over 1 hour half of the week till I get the answer.

Even if I'm pretty much in the good state, I take the short time mediation, like 10 min or so to get another insight.

What's 'Symbol' in the first place?

Symbolic reading, symbolic meditation...

It shouldn't be too difficult for you to assume that this is something related to 'symbols'.

But in the first place, what's the 'symbol'?

Let me tell you my story on everyday life, this is something like,

"I'm craving for ramen today!!!"

OK, this is a symbol, yes "ramen" is a symbol in which a message from your subconscious mind is contained.

I'm not joking!!

Here is another story.

"Feeling many around me seem to go to N.Y recently. "

This is a symbol but don't get it wrong as

"I have to go to N.Y too?!"

No, you don't have to go to N.Y, but N.Y is a symbol that contains the important message from your subconscious mind.

When "ramen" or "N.Y" is a symbol, you don't understand anything from that. So what you have to do is to simply decipher what message is in there. Then you'll find out what your subconscious was telling you and the answer might change even your life direction.

Here is my another blog which should give you the idea what the symbol means in this method.

What's Symbolic Method?

Symbolic method is a simple tool to understand yourself by retrieving the information from your subconscious mind, developed by a Japanese woman, Hinata Haru, based on her counseling experiences with about 30,000 clients in the various methods.

"Symbol" means really a symbol which catches your attention but you don't know why it does, you just feel "somehow".

This is a message from your subconsciousness mind that your conscious mind cannot recognize. However, many of us cannot understand what the subconscious is trying to tell us.

Symbol is a symbol, not an answer. But if you are capable to decipher this symbol, you'll get that answer.

Symbolic method is a tool to decipher these symbols appearing in your everyday life.

Ask yourself what you want to resolve, then what catches your attention? Anything can be a symbol, after you find it, decipher it. You'll get the answer to your question just asked to yourself, from your subconscious mind and this is most powerful answer to YOU.
